Crystal Dunn signs with Paris Saint Germain through June 2027
Crystal Dunn has signed with French side Paris Saint-Germain through June 2027, the club announced on Friday.
Dunn, 32, signed with the French team just a few days after Gotham FC announced the mutual parting between the two parties. The signing marks Dunn’s second move to Europe, as she featured for Chelsea in the FA Women’s Super League in England from 2017-18.
“I am very happy to join Paris Saint-Germain, an ambitious club with an incredible city,” Dunn said, via a PSG press release. “I can’t wait to get started, meet my teammates and give my best to help the team achieve its goals. I can’t wait to start this new adventure.”
Dunn began her professional career with the Washington Spirit in 2014 and left the club to join the North Carolina Courage in 2018. After two years with the Courage — and two National Women’s Soccer League Championship titles — Dunn signed with the Portland Thorns in 2021. She was on the NWSL Championship-winning team in 2022, and hoisted the NWSL Challenge Cup in 2021.
Her one season at Gotham FC was muddled with absence. She started 11 of her 19 NWSL regular-season appearances, and was listed as not available in injury reports toward the end of the season, due to “personal reasons.” She scored one goal and provided two assists.
“Crystal is an accomplished player who has achieved so much in her career,” Yael Averbuch West, general manager and head of soccer operations for Gotham FC, said via a press release. “We wish her all the best in the next chapter of her career, and we thank her for her contributions to our club.”
Dunn is a regular fixture on the U.S. women’s national team, making 154 international appearances.

I’m Thomas Clark, from the ever-sunny Scottsdale, Arizona. At 47, my life’s not your usual nine-to-five grind; I’m the voice behind the screen at FC Soccer News. My days are a mix of passion and professionalism as I weave words for the love of the game. University of Arizona’s where I honed my skills, but the real education came from the hours spent in local cafes, my eyes glued to my laptop, and my mind playing the field.
Soccer’s not just my beat—it’s the rhythm to my life. I analyze plays with a tactical mind and share insights that cut through the noise. Outside work, my appetite for adventure is as strong as a striker’s kick. The chef in me loves experimenting in the kitchen, and when the hiking trails call my name, I answer with boots laced tight. I’ve got music in my bones, and you’ll often find me lost in the melodies of a well-strummed guitar.
Away from the adrenaline of sports and the hum of daily life, my world orbits around my family. Dinner tables are our huddles, where laughter and stories bounce around like a well-played ball. Weekends are sacred—reserved for family bike rides and movie marathons, where I pass down my love for classics to my two bright kids. Parenthood’s more rewarding than any byline, and it’s taught me the true value of teamwork. My wife is my rock, my steady defender, offering unwavering support through every deadline and draft. Together, we’ve built a life that’s as dynamic as the games I cover—a blend of commitment, joy, and the unending chase of a story worth telling.
