Liverpool bid for Salah successor
Dario Osorio, the 20-year-old Chilean international who became a Danish league winner after his first season with Midtjylland was the subject of rumours of a €10m bid from the Reds, which has been confirmed by Danish paper Tipsbladet.
According to the report, Liverpool put in a bid for Osorio but Midtjylland rejected it as “the amount and the offer did not give rise to further thought” at the time.
The Danish side “have no interest whatsoever in selling [Osorio] for anything other than a record amount.”

Endo could be sold
Ryan Gravenberch’s emergence as a key player in Arne Slot’s side has dispelled many fans’ worries after the club failed to sign a defensive midfielder during the summer.
The Dutchman has formed a brilliant partnership with Alexis Mac Allister in the centre of midfield and has been likened to Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira for his performances so far.
Slot has started the pair in all but one of Liverpool’s first nine games of the season – the 5-1 Carabao Cup win against West Ham.
However, a report from Football Insider suggests that the club are still in for a defensive midfielder, with Wataru Endo set to be sold to fund any incoming deal.

Hughes makes scouting trip

Incoming sporting director at Liverpool, Richard Hughes
Arne Slot has teamed up with new Sporting Director Richard Hughes to mould a new-look Liverpool squad. Much of the attention is currently on the contract situation surrounding Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold, but Hughes is bound to also have an eye on the January transfer window which is rapidly approaching.
Hughes made the trip to Bournemouth on Monday to take in their 3-1 win over Premier League newcomers Southampton, in what could have been a personal scouting trip for two of his former club’s star players.
According to the Daily Mail, both Antoine Semenyo and Milos Kerkez are “emerging as targets for a number of Premier League teams.”
