Trent Alexander-Arnold’s two KEY Liverpool contract demands REVEALED
Trent Alexander-Arnold’s two demands for a Liverpool contract renewal have been revealed as follows.
The Liverpool defender’s current deal at the club expires at the end of the season and the Reds are keen to tie him down to an extension.
Alexander-Arnold is the vice captain of the club and very much remains an integral part of Arne Slot’s plans. However, Liverpool have so far stalled in negotiations with the 25-year-old.
There has been a changing of the guard at Anfield this summer with the return of Michael Edwards and the appointment of Richard Hughes.
In this new era, there have been other priorities, but the focus will now switch towards renewals.

What are Alexander-Arnold’s two contract demands?
Being a local hero, Alexander-Arnold would likely not oppose staying at the club for the indefinite future, even with the allure of Real Madrid being hot on his radar.
However, the England international is also entering the prime years of his career, and he wants to be able to continue fighting for trophies right at the very top of the game.
With big changes at the club this summer, it is understandable why Alexander-Arnold has yet to commit to his future given the uncertainties of the new era, even despite Arne Slot’s impressive start to life at Anfield.

According to Football Insider, Alexander-Arnold wants reassurances in two major things in particular. Football Insider claims he wants the club to match his personal ambitions both in terms of winning trophies and in the transfer market.
Already, Liverpool are sitting at the top of the Premier League and have gone unbeaten in domestic and international cup competitions.
But they have not shown enough ambition in the transfer market over the course of the summer, failing to bring in a no.6.
Slot managed to find a solution, with Ryan Gravenberch having been transformed into an astute player. However, Alexander-Arnold will clearly be looking for more ambition in order to be convinced his future lies at Anfield.
