Arsenal eye four big signings ahead of busy summer
Arsenal have been linked with a slew of big moves ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Gunners kept their powder dry in January as they chose not to make any new signings after spending over £200 million on the likes of Declan Rice, Kai Havertz and Jurrien Timber.
It could be another busy offseason for the north London outfit as they look to reinforce an already impressive squad, as they are reportedly interested in four players from the Iberian Peninsula.
Arsenal could sign a new striker this summer, with Viktor Gyokeres now on their list of targets, according to TodoFichajes.
They have been heavily linked with a move for Brentford’s Ivan Toney, but this report may suggest they are willing to look elsewhere if they do choose to sign a centre-forward.
However, Sporting Lisbon don’t intend to let go of their Swedish superstar so easily after registering 24 goals and nine assists this term. The player has a £100m release clause in his contract.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are ‘considering’ an ambitious double Barcelona swoop for Raphinha and Ferran Torres, according to Fichajes.
Both players are very familiar with the Premier League, having played for Leeds United and Manchester City respectively before moving to Catalunya. Mikel Arteta is well stocked in the wide forward positions, though, making it difficult to see where the two players fit into his plans.
Elsewhere, Arsenal will rival Manchester United for Spanish left-back Miguel Gutierrez, Fichajes also claim.
The 22-year-old has impressed with Girona this season as the City Football Group team sit second in the La Liga table behind Real Madrid, who have a buy-back option on the player for just £7m, although they seem poised to sign Alphonso Davies from Bayern Munich instead.

I’m Thomas Clark, from the ever-sunny Scottsdale, Arizona. At 47, my life’s not your usual nine-to-five grind; I’m the voice behind the screen at FC Soccer News. My days are a mix of passion and professionalism as I weave words for the love of the game. University of Arizona’s where I honed my skills, but the real education came from the hours spent in local cafes, my eyes glued to my laptop, and my mind playing the field.
Soccer’s not just my beat—it’s the rhythm to my life. I analyze plays with a tactical mind and share insights that cut through the noise. Outside work, my appetite for adventure is as strong as a striker’s kick. The chef in me loves experimenting in the kitchen, and when the hiking trails call my name, I answer with boots laced tight. I’ve got music in my bones, and you’ll often find me lost in the melodies of a well-strummed guitar.
Away from the adrenaline of sports and the hum of daily life, my world orbits around my family. Dinner tables are our huddles, where laughter and stories bounce around like a well-played ball. Weekends are sacred—reserved for family bike rides and movie marathons, where I pass down my love for classics to my two bright kids. Parenthood’s more rewarding than any byline, and it’s taught me the true value of teamwork. My wife is my rock, my steady defender, offering unwavering support through every deadline and draft. Together, we’ve built a life that’s as dynamic as the games I cover—a blend of commitment, joy, and the unending chase of a story worth telling.
